Senior bim technician- electrical

To work as part of our Services Team to provide CAD/BIM support to engineering projects. The successful candidate’s role will be as an MEP Revit Technician within the WSP India in our Noida office producing BIM models and detailed engineering designs and construction drawings. You can expect to be active on a number of projects at any given time. You will report to CAD/BIM Manager in Project functionally and reporting to Line manager operationally.
Responsibilities
- Prepare MEP 3 D Revit coordinated models
- Clash detection and clash resolution
- Create Parametric Revit Families
- Provide specialist support to design teams preparing analysis and design models
- Support design teams and bid teams with the creation of 3 D visualisations
- Support design teams and bid teams with creation of 4 D models / visualisations
- Prepare quantities for use in Bo Qs from the 3 D model.
Key Competencies / Skills:
Experience in the use of the following software is essential:
- REVIT MEP
- Auto CAD (2 D and 3 D)
- Navisworks
Experience in the use of the following software is desirable but not essential:
- Autodesk 3ds MAX
- MS Excel
- MS Word
The candidate must:
- Have good English communication skills
- Be able to work closely with colleagues at a senior level.
- Be computer literate.
- Have a valid passport and be prepared to be seconded for up to 3 months as projects dictate (base will be NOIDA).
- Ability to plan and manage his/her workload
- Lateral thinking
- Ability to understand own limitations and limitations of the software being used
Qualifications
Diploma in Electrical engineering is preferred in addition to Draughting qualifications.
