Job Description
The BIM/CAD Technician role will include creation and editing of drawings in compliance with WSP New Zealand CAD Standards, detailing practices and ensuring high quality output.
+ Creation and editing of models, drawings & sketches in compliance with WSP BIM/CAD Standards and detailing practices.
+ Produce accurate and timely models and drawings to agreed deadlines.
+ Completion of tasks received from Engineers and Senior BIM/CAD Technicians.
+ Generate sections / schedules / schematics from models and/or general arrangement drawings.
+ Ensure models, drawings are issued and filed in an appropriate manner.
+ Export of models/drawings to formats such as IFC, NWC, DWF & PDF.
+ Develop expertise and stay abreast of developments in relevant technical field.
+ Identify improvements (where possible) to enhance WSP service to clients.
+ Use cloud based common data environment (CDE) to manage the uploading and downloading of document, submittals, drawings, mode...
