About the Role
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Senior Bookkeeper / Assistant Accountant to join our expanding finance team based in our recently refurbished Mount Hawthorn office .
This is a hands-on, senior-level role working closely with the Owner and Senior Accountant. The position focuses on high-quality bookkeeping and management accounting across multiple entities and is best suited to someone who enjoys ownership, responsibility, and being part of a close-knit professional team.
This role is predominantly office-based and ideally suited to candidates located in or around Perth’s inner suburbs who are looking for a stable, long-term position close to home.

Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end accounts processing across multiple entities
- Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Payroll and Superannuation processing
- Bank and credit card reconciliations
- Assisting with Payroll Tax, BAS and IAS preparation and lodgements
- Month-end journals
- Assisting with monthly management accounts and reporting
- Cash flow forecasting support
- Documenting, improving, and maintaining finance processes
About You
This role is not suitable for graduates or junior candidates .
You will bring:
- 3–5+ years’ experience in a senior bookkeeping or similar accounting role
- Strong, practical knowledge of bookkeeping and general accounting principles
- Experience assisting with or preparing management accounts
- Formal accounting or bookkeeping qualifications (desirable)
- Strong working knowledge of Xero (Xero certification highly regarded)
- Confidence managing your own workload with minimal supervision
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
Ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
