Key Responsibilities
Business & Domain Analysis
• Gather, analyse, and document business requirements related to:
o Forms content and trigger logic
o Extract requirements from a legacy system and document them for development and quality assurance
o Translate business needs into functional and system requirements for mainframe-based applications.
o Conduct gap analysis, impact analysis, and feasibility studies for system changes.
o Understand regulatory and compliance requirements (ISO, NAIC, SOX, GDPR, etc., as applicable).
Mainframe & Technical Collaboration
• Work closely with mainframe lead and development teams to understand current mainframe systems and integrations (COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, CICS).
• Analyse existing legacy systems, data flows, batch jobs, and online transactions.
• Create and maintain:
o Functional Requirement Documents (FRD)
o Business Requirement Documents (BRD)
