A major Federal Government agency is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join its dynamic digital transformation program. This role offers the opportunity to work within multi-disciplinary teams supporting the development of new IT systems that enhance service delivery and modernise business processes. The successful candidate will contribute to the design and implementation of innovative, customer-centric solutions across complex ICT environments. This opportunity will offer an initial 12 month + 2 x 12 month extensions, open to candidates in ACT, with flexible working arrangements available.

The Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Engaging with business stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into user stories and requirements.
• Conducting research and in-depth analysis of existing business processes, data, and systems.
• Collaborating with technical teams, product owners, and end users to design and deliver fit-for-purpose solutions.
• Supporting delivery teams in sprint planning, ceremonies, and continuous improvement activities.

To be successful, the Senior Business Analyst will demonstrate:

• Proven ability to elicit, document, and manage requirements, user stories, and non-functional criteria.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills, with experience engaging diverse stakeholders.
• Experience applying business analysis in ICT environments, ideally within infrastructure, cloud, or network projects.
