Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in business analysis or functional consulting, with strong expertise in Salesforce CRM and hands-on experience supporting complex implementations.

As a Senior Salesforce Business Analyst, you will work closely with clients and internal delivery teams to understand business needs, translate requirements into clear functional specifications, and help design scalable Salesforce solutions that support growth. You will play a key role across discovery, analysis, documentation, testing support, and deployment preparation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and facilitate discovery sessions to understand business processes, pain points, and goals.
  • Analyze current-state processes and propose future-state workflows aligned with Salesforce capabilities.
  • Translate business needs into clear, structured requirements, user stories, testing stories, and functional specifications.
  • Previous experience with quality assurance (QA) testing of applications; ability to identify defects, track resolution of problems, and retest defect corrections is appreciated.
  • Collaborate with Technical Leads and Developers to ensure requirements are understood and implemented correctly.
  • Support solution design for Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Data Cloud.
  • Experience with Revenue Cloud / CPQ / Billing is appreciated but not required.
  • Perform gap analysis between requirements and Salesforce platform capabilities.
  • Create and maintain process maps, data models, acceptance criteria, and configuration documentation.
  • Participate in backlog grooming, sprint planning, and user acceptance testing.
  • Assist clients in preparing for deployment, including readiness activities and training materials.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication across client and internal teams, ensuring alignment on decisions, risks, and next steps.
  • Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and continuous improvement of BA practices within the team.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Consultant, or similar role in Salesforce implementations.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce CRM (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Data Cloud; Revenue Cloud, CPQ, or Order Management experience is an asset).
  • Proven ability to lead requirements workshops and translate business needs into functional documentation.
  • Experience creating user stories, process flows, acceptance criteria, and solution documentation.
  • Understanding of data models, security, automation, and configuration concepts within Salesforce.
  • Familiarity with Agile and hybrid delivery methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to present complex information clearly.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in English.

Preferred:

  • Proficiency in French.
  • Experience working within a formal PMO or consulting practice.
  • Shopify certification(s).
  • Familiarity with the retail, luxury, or consumer goods industry.
  • Entrepreneurial or startup experience.
