Job Description
Purpose of Position:
We're hiring a Lead Looker Developer to lead the design of our semantic layer and analytics platform. You will own Looker architecture, mentor developers, set standards for data modeling and governance, and partner with product and business leaders to deliver high-value insights at scale.

Key Result Areas and Activities:
Architect Looker semantic layers: model hierarchy, naming, authorization, and reusable components.
Design enterprise-grade LookML with versioning, testing, and CI/CD; enforce coding standards.
Lead data modeling (dimensional, semantic metrics layer, surrogate keys, SCDs).
Implement performance frameworks: PDT strategy, aggregates, incremental loads, query tuning.
Own data governance in Looker: folders, roles, content validations, lifecycle management.
Establish observability: usage analytics via System Activity, data SLAs, content health dashboards.
