Senior Business Systems Engineer - Martech

Job Summary

The Senior Business Systems Engineer – Marketing Technology (MarTech) is the senior technical owner of the company’s marketing technology ecosystem, including HubSpot, inRiver (PIM), WordPress, and related marketing tools. This role is responsible for platform architecture, administration, integrations, automation, and data integrity, ensuring systems are secure, scalable, and aligned with enterprise IT standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the technical architecture, configuration, and ongoing optimization of MarTech platforms
• Serve as the senior technical subject matter expert for HubSpot, inRiver, WordPress, and related tools
• Define and maintain the MarTech technical roadmap in alignment with enterprise IT, security, and governance standards
• Administer platforms including data models, workflows, automation, permissions, and access controls
• Design, build, and support integrations using APIs, webhooks, and middleware tools
• Engineer automation for lead management, campaign execution, and product data syndication
• Own marketing and product data architecture;
  ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability across systems
• Enforce security, compliance, and change management best practices
• Provide Tier 2–3 escalation support and lead root-cause analysis for complex platform issues
• Partner with vendors and internal IT teams on enhancements, upgrades, and roadmap planning

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 7+ years of experience in MarTech, CRM, or enterprise systems engineering
• Hands-on experience with HubSpot, inRiver, WordPress, and related marketing tools
• Strong experience with APIs, integrations, and middleware platforms
• Proficiency in JavaScript or similar scripting for automation
• Experience operating systems under formal IT governance and change management

Preferred Qualifications

• HubSpot certifications (Admin, Operations Hub, Developer)
• Experience with PIM implementations and web integrations
• Familiarity with ERP systems and enterprise data platforms
• Experience working in global, matrixed enterprise environments
