Role: Demand Planner - Team Lead
This role leads global procurement demand planning activities, ensuring accurate Buying/ planning of material and component requirements to support Revvity's supply chain operations. The position focuses on aligning procurement strategies with demand planning to optimize inventory, reduce costs, and ensure supply continuity across global operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and maintain material requirements planning (MRP) based on demand forecastsCoordinate with demand planners and production teams on material availabilityManage purchase order creation, expediting, and delivery schedulesDevelop and maintain accurate demand planning using statistical models, market intelligence, and cross-functional inputAnalyze historical sales data, seasonality patterns, and market dynamics to improve planning accuracyAnalyze supplier performance metrics (on-time delivery, quality, cost)Identify and mitigate supply chain risks and disruptionsSupport new product introduction (NPI) planning and lifecycle managementDevelop and maintain demand planning tools, dashboards, and reporting systemsMentor New demand planning staff and drive process improvementsMonitor inventory levels and optimize safety stock parametersAnalyze inventory turnover rates, obsolescence, and demand patternsCollaborate with Stakeholders, manufacturing, and sales teams on inventory planningDevelop and maintain inventory KPIs and reporting dashboardsIdentify and implement process improvements to reduce waste and carrying costsLead cross-functional process improvement projectsIdentify opportunities for operational efficiency gains & Design and implement standardized processes and best practicesDevelop process documentation, SOPs, and training materialsMonitor process performance metrics and implement corrective actionsCoach teams on process improvement tools and methodologiesDrive continuous improvement in procurement planning accuracy and inventory optimizationDevelop and implement KPIs to measure procurement planning effectivenessPreferred Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, or related field; MBA preferred10+ years of experience in procurement planning or materials management, preferably in life sciences or diagnosticsStrong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes with focus on procurement and materials planningExperience with machine learning/AI toolsExperience with MRP systems, ERP platforms (SAP, S/4 Hana, Oracle), and advanced planning toolsStrong analytical skills in Power BI with ability to translate complex data into actionable insightsExperience with team handling, providing guidance and professional development
