Senior CAD Engineer/Drafter

Role: Engineering. 3D CAD. 2D Drafting

1. 4W Cargo Vehicles, Buses and Trucks
2. Cargo Boxes and Shipping Containers
3. New Energy systems
4. State of the art concepts in strategic sectors such as aerospace

Location: Gurgaon (non-negotiable)

Experience: Atleast 3-5 years at 4W OEMs or other complex systems

Pay: We match salary. Increase dependent on candidate's proven abilities. Ideal compensation for this role is between 12-20 Lakhs per annum. We are flexible outside this range as well.

ESOPs: Dependent on salary negotiation.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree
2. 3D CAD software proficiency to be excellent (will be tested)
3. 2D drafting based on 3D models
4. Tool CAD design
5. Strong communication skills.
6. Ability to work long hours and cooperate within a team environment.

We have an in-house engineering team to assist the candidate on all aspects of structural design. Within 1 year, we will ensure that you are promoted to a Design Engineer role from a CAD Engineer role, if you demonstrate appropriate skills and deliver your work on time.

You'll be responsible to:

• Develop and create detailed 3D CAD models and drawings
• Design and develop components, assemblies, and systems, focusing on vehicle design and engineering.
• Perform design modifications and optimizations to improve product performance and manufacturability.
• Prepare and review detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and BOMs (Bill of Materials).
• Conduct feasibility studies and provide input on design changes based on simulation results
• Work closely with the manufacturing team to ensure designs are cost-effective and manufacturable
• Apply knowledge of materials, including plastics and metals, to select appropriate materials for different components and assemblies (team will help)
• Participate in design reviews, DFMEA, and other quality control processes to ensure product quality and reliability.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, working efficiently under tight deadlines in a fast-paced startup environment.
