Role Overview
As a Category Executive , you will be responsible for driving growth and profitability
across the brand s food and beverage portfolio. You ll support end-to-end category operations
from product development and pricing to supply chain coordination and marketing
ensuring consistently delivers exceptional quality and consumer delight.
Key Responsibilities
1. Category Management & Strategy
Assist in developing and executing category growth strategies aligned with
brand vision.
Monitor category performance metrics (sales, margins, assortment, and inventory
health) and identify improvement areas.
Support in planning and executing product launches, seasonal campaigns, and category
expansions.
2. Product Development & Sourcing
Coordinate with internal product development, sourcing, and quality teams to launch
new SKUs.
Conduct competitive benchmarking on pricing, packaging, and assortment.
Manage vendor relationships to ensure timely production, procurement, and delivery.
3. Pricing & Promotion
Assist in developing pricing strategies and promotional plans to drive category
performance.
Collaborate with marketing and growth teams to plan visibility, sampling, and
communication initiatives.
Track ROI and campaign performance, sharing insights for optimization.
4. Operations & Supply Chain Coordination
Work closely with demand planning, procurement, and warehouse teams to ensure
product availability and optimal inventory levels.
Support in forecasting demand and managing replenishment cycles to minimize out-of-
stock and wastage.
5. Insights & Reporting
Track consumer trends, competitor activities, and category performance through data
analysis.
Prepare regular dashboards, business reviews, and actionable insights for management.
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure data-driven decision-making.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor s degree in Business, Marketing, Technology etc.
1 3 years of experience in category management, FMCG, retail, or e-commerce.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and basic understanding of data
visualization tools such as Power BI, SQL
Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management abilities.
Passion for food, brand building, and consumer experience.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
