About the engagement:
Green Light is partnering up with a leading company to engage an experienced Cisco Network Engineers to support a large-scale national network rollout across ~700 sites. This is a high-profile program requiring strong hands-on expertise in Cisco SDA, SD-WAN (Viptela), routing & switching, and enterprise wireless, working as part of a senior engineering team delivering a complex, multi-year transformation.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end network implementation and rollout activities across a 700-site national program
• Design, configure, and deploy Cisco Software-Defined Access (SDA) and Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela) solutions
• Implement and support Cisco Catalyst switching platforms (access, distribution, core)
• Perform routing and switching configuration (OSPF, BGP, VLANs, QoS, STP)
• Deploy and support enterprise wireless solutions (Cisco WLAN, controllers, access points)
• Provide Level 3 engineering support during rollout, cutover, and stabilisation phases
• Work closely with project managers, architects, and field teams to ensure delivery timelines and quality standards are met
• Produce and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and implementation guides
• Support troubleshooting and optimisation during rollout and BAU transition

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Senior Cisco Network Engineer on large, multi-site or national rollout programs
• Strong hands-on expertise in:
  
  • Cisco SDA
  • Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela – not Meraki)
  • Routing & Switching
  • Cisco Catalyst platforms
• Solid understanding of enterprise network design and deployment best practices
• Experience working in structured rollout programs and regulated or enterprise environments

Desirable Skills

• Strong wireless networking experience (Cisco WLAN, RF fundamentals, site surveys)
• Exposure to large-scale network transformation or modernisation programs
• Relevant Cisco certifications (CCNP, CCIE – highly regarded)
