We currently have a requirement for aCivil Design Engineer to work on large industrial projects for blue chip clients.


Responsibilities

  • Lead the detailed civil engineering design of pavements, underground drainage and utilities, and earthworks for site development works on large industrial projects.
  • Proactively coordinate with project managers, design disciplines, construction management team, contractors and Clients.
  • Manage the timely delivery of the civil engineering design to an excellent standard.
  • Carry out periodic inspections of the works on site for quality and BCAR purposes.
  • Contribute to the continuous development of the civil engineering department.

    • Qualifications

  • Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent qualification / professional experience) 
  • 8+ years’ experience with an EPC firm working on large-scale industrial projects is required, with experience in Pharma and Data Centre projects a distinct advantage
  • Must be proficient in the use of AutoCAD 2D, Civil 3D, AutoTRACK and Revit 
  • Experience in Navisworks and/or BIM360 is preferable 
  • Design experience with clients from Europe and the USA is an advantage
