This Civil Engineer role is aligned with our Corvallis, Oregon office. We'll Expect You To:

  • Work closely with Project Managers and other discipline Engineers to produce quality drawings
  • Perform engineering work in various engineering fields within the company such as water, wastewater, pipelines, pump stations and reservoirs
  • Responsibilities may also extend beyond supporting our transportation, environmental and other business groups
  • Ability to manage engineering teams, manage the civil engineering design, prepare reports, develop plans and specifications
  • Create engineering markups for CAD technicians 
  • Review survey and basemap drawings on projects
  • Be relied on as productive team member and discipline lead to work a typical set of project documents from beginning to end with professional quality output that conforms to company or client standards
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines at the same time
  • Ability to manage multiple civil teams on projects
  • Stamp work as engineer of record with PE 
  • Strong understanding of specifications and the ability to edit specifications on projects
  • Ability to generate earthwork quantities/generate reports with an understanding of sloping grades
  • Coordination of activities between all disciplines at the project level ranging from stormwater, erosion control, site development and underground utilities
  • Provide quality checking of drafted products
  • Provide mentoring and training where needed
  • Proactively be involved with pursuing work and be involved in proposal work
  • Active in professional associations is a plus
  • Ability to act as a quality control reviewer on projects and stamp as engineer of record with a team under your supervision 
  • Here's what you'll need
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE)
  • 15+ years of civil engineering experience
  • Ability to work well both independently and as a team 
  • Ability to direct team members on producing work
  • Experience with water treatment, wastewater treatment, pump stations, distribution, storage a plus
  • Attention to detail, quality work products, and client service 
  • Experience with MS Office 365 (Email, Excel, Word, Teams) 
  • Experience or working knowledge with Autodesk and Bentley CAD platforms
  • Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D or Microstation Inroads or OpenRoads a plus 
  • Ability to lead projects with moderate to minimal supervision 
  • Masters degree in civil engineering a plus but not required
  • Posted Salary Range: Minimum 102,900.00 Posted Salary Range: Upper 224,400.00

    The base salary range for this position is $102,900.00 to $224,400.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
