We are recruiting a Senior Civil & Structural Design Engineer, to join our newly awarded SSE team, to ensure we provide our client with the best value and working design solutions, eradicating technical problems associated with substation design.

The Role
We'll look to you and your expertise to ensure optimised and sustainable design solutions for our Distribution Network Operations (DNO), receiving the client's brief and formulating the scope of work and developing the design philosophy.
You will be responsible for a range of specifications, calculations, reports, and drawings for key projects, and managing programmes to help drive innovation and sustainability while keeping safety as a priority. By working proactively with the rest of the design team, we will help contribute towards the government target of NETzero.
