Inova Health is seeking a dedicated Clinical Pharmacist – Integrative Oncology to join the team. This role will be full-time Monday – Friday. |Sign-on Bonus & relocation assistance eligible.

The Senior Clinical Pharmacist supporting the Integrative Oncology team at the Inova Schar Cancer Center serves as a bridge between conventional oncology treatments and evidence-based complementary therapies. This role will focus on optimizing patient safety and clinical outcomes by performing comprehensive medication therapy management, with a specific emphasis on identifying and mitigating potential drug-nutrient and drug-herb interactions. By collaborating closely with oncologists, dietitians, and the broader multidisciplinary team, the Senior Clinical Pharmacist provides personalized education to patients and clinicians alike, ensuring that integrative approaches—such as supplements or lifestyle modifications—are seamlessly and safely incorporated into the patient’s overall cancer care plan.

Clinical Pharmacist Job Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:Doctorate of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor degree in Pharmacy.
Experience: Five (5) years as a clinical Pharmacist.
Licensure: Licensed Pharmacist in the state of VA.
Certification:Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) for Critical Care and Emergency Medicine, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 90 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience: PGY2 Oncology Residency strongly recommended.
