Role Overview:


We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Data Platform Developer with over 7 years of expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data solutions. In this role, you will set the architectural direction for data engineering initiatives, ensuring robust, high-performance pipelines and integrations across cloud and on-premises environments. You will design and implement data models, optimize ETL processes, and establish governance frameworks to maintain data quality and compliance. The position involves working with modern technologies such as Azure Data Factory, Snowflake, and other enterprise data platforms to enable seamless data flow and analytics.


This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, data architects, developers, and IT leadership to deliver reliable and efficient data solutions that support strategic decision-making. You will play a key role in defining best practices for data engineering, implementing security and performance standards, and ensuring that data systems meet both technical and business requirements in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.


What we are looking for:

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience as a Senior Cloud Data Platform Developer, working with large-scale data integration and warehousing solutions.

  • Strong expertise in Azure Data Factory (ADF) for orchestrating and automating data workflows.

  • Proficient in Snowflake Data Warehouse, including data modelling, performance tuning, and advanced SQL.

  • Experience integrating data from multiple sources, including:
  • CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce/SFDC)

  • SAP

  • FTP servers

  • APIs (REST/SOAP)
  • Solid understanding of data quality, data governance, and best practices in ETL/ELT processes.
  • Ability to integrate AI-driven solutions securely, ensuring data governance and compliance.

  • Demonstrates strong analytical skills and flexibility in handling evolving technologies and complex challenges.

  • Clear communicator with collaborative leadership style, fostering teamwork and mentoring peers.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

    • What you will be doing:

  • Design, develop, and optimize data ingestion and transformation pipelines using Azure Data Factory.

  • Build and maintain scalable data models and data marts in Snowflake.

  • Integrate data from CRM (SFDC), SAP, FTP, and API sources into the enterprise data warehouse.

  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and security across all data pipelines.

  • Collaborate with business analysts, data scientists, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality datasets for analytics and reporting.

  • Create and maintain technical documentation for data workflows, integrations, and architecture.

  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance, ensuring reliability and scalability.

  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in data engineering.

  • Collaborate with Data Architects to understand business requirements and implement solutions.

  • Collaborate with enterprise architects and business leaders to align Data strategy with organizational objectives.

  • Lead the Data Platform setup, including multi-environment configuration (Dev/Test/Prod), security, backups, and performance tuning.

  • Provide architectural guidance and mentoring to development teams and consultants.

    • Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Power BI for data visualization and dashboard development.

  • Knowledge of SAP business data domains and integration patterns.

  • Familiarity with cloud-native architectures and deploying solutions on Azure.

  • Exposure to DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools.
