Job Description


The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) is seeking experienced and well-rounded Senior Cloud Engineers (with architecture experience) to join our core enterprise cloud operations and modernization team. These individuals will provide day-to-day support across AWS and hybrid on-premises environments, ensuring stability, performance, and uptime of mission-critical, public-facing systems. In addition to operational support, the engineers will also contribute to modernization
efforts — including lift-and-shift, re-platforming, containerization, and integration of emerging technologies — working with senior architects to guide longer-term strategy while driving hands-on execution.

Location:

The primary work location will be remote, with the requirement to be on-site at MassDOT headquarters at Park Plaza, Boston MA, one day per week, depending on operational needs.
