Cloud Architect Role Summary

Job Description:

This senior-level network architect position involves leading the strategic development of highly available and scalable cloud-based infrastructures that meet business objectives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, with an associate's degree being accepted as an alternative. We prefer candidates to hold a higher educational qualification than required.


• Must have AWS Solutions Architect certification for advanced level experience with core networking services such as VPC, Subnets, Route Tables, Internet Gateway, NAT Gateway, Direct Connect Transit Gateway and VPC Peering.


• Prior expertise in managing networks using various topologies like on-premises hybrid multi-cloud environments is essential.  This includes extensive hands-on experience with SD-WAN solutions from major vendors (e.g., Prisma SD WAN Fortinet Cisco) traffic steering policies remote site connectivity local area network protocols wide-area network architecture broadband technologies resource allocation routing protocol secure communication DDoS mitigation

Certified Network Specialist Professional Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of firewalls particularly PANORAMA for centralized management security policy implementation threat prevention VPN - while currently certified for F5 BIG IP products supporting LTM GTM application delivery load balancing traffic management deploying CDN service proxies Amazon Web Services CloudFront Azure Front Door peer-to-peer communications features what they entail latency metrics content distribution optimization cost-effectiveness contemporary object-oriented software techniques
