The Opportunity

We are seeking a Cloud Observability Engineer to join our International Technology Hub in Barcelona. We power the digital backbone of a global enterprise, managing a high-concurrency environment that serves millions of users across multiple continents.

Our mission is to build a world-class, self-service observability platform. We don't just use tools; we engineer the platform that enables hundreds of internal engineering teams to deploy with confidence and clarity.

Your Responsibilities

• Platform Engineering: Design and scale a multi-tenant Observability Platform based on the Grafana LGTM stack (Loki, Grafana, Tempo, Mimir).
• Automation & Tooling: Develop custom Kubernetes Operators in Go to automate the lifecycle and management of our observability infrastructure.
• API Development: Build and maintain internal REST APIs that allow developers to programmatically manage monitoring, alerting, and telemetry configurations.
• Architecture Evolution: Lead the integration of OpenTelemetry and other cloud-native standards to streamline metrics, logs, and traces collection.
• SRE Culture: Operate in a "You Build It – You Run It" environment, performing deep-dive root cause analysis and optimizing system performance for high-cardinality data.

Your Profile

• Technical Core: You are a Software Engineer at heart with a passion for SRE. Proficiency in Go and a deep understanding of Kubernetes are essential.
• Ecosystem Knowledge: Strong experience with (or a burning desire to master) the Grafana/Prometheus ecosystem.
• Cloud-Native Mindset: You have experience with the full software development lifecycle and are comfortable building controllers or operators for K8s.
• Analytical Depth: You go beyond building dashboards; you understand underlying data models and how to optimize telemetry for large-scale distributed systems.
• Collaborative: You enjoy sharing knowledge and contributing to a culture of continuous technical improvement.
