Senior Cloud Security Engineer

Overview

You'll be joining as a Senior, hands-on Cloud & Information Security Engineer for an urgent contract engagement to take ownership of cloud security and technical information security in a regulated environment .

This is a delivery-first role , not advisory. You’ll be responsible for designing, implementing and operating secure cloud infrastructure and security controls that will stand up to audit and regulatory scrutiny , with clear handover at the end of the engagement.

Responsibilities

• Ownership of day-to-day technical information security controls
• Secure cloud infrastructure design and build (AWS preferred) using security-by-design
• IAM enforcement (least privilege, MFA, segregation of duties)
• Centralised security logging, monitoring, alerting and vulnerability management
• Infrastructure-as-Code, configuration management and automation
• Secure networking...
