Cloud Security Engineering (CSE) is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security measures to protect organization's cloud infrastructure, applications, and data. We develop security policies, perform assessments, configure tools, and provide guidance to ensure secure cloud environments. CSE partners closely with the Cloud Service

**What You'll Do at Pega:**

+ Design, implement, and maintain security controls in **AWS and GCP** to safeguard against threats and vulnerabilities.
+ Automate security operations and workflows using scripting languages such as **Python or Golang**
+ Develop, enforce, and continuously **improve security policies, standards, and procedures**
+ Analyze complex security challenges, propose robust solutions, and drive their implementation end-to-end.
+ Act as a trusted security advisor, providing guidance and best practices to cross-functional teams.
+ Stay ahead of emerging security threats, trends, and technologies to strengthen cloud security posture.

**Who You Are:**

**What You've Accomplished:**

Required Qualifications

+ Bachelor's or Master's degree in **Computer Science** , Information Security, or a related field.
+ 2-6+ years of hands-on experience in **Cloud Security** , focusing on **AWS or GCP**
+ Expertise in **AWS Security services** and **EDR tools**
+ Strong understanding of **cloud security principles** , policies, and best practices.
+ Proficiency in scripting languages **(Python, Golang)**
+ Experience with **DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines** , source code management, and containerization.

**Desired Qualifications**

+ Hands-on experience with **EDR/XDR** solutions (e. g., **Trend Micro, CrowdStrike** ).
+ Knowledge of container security and **Kubernetes**
+ Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools ( **Terraform, CloudFormation** ).
+ Experience building applications with API integrations.
+ Relevant certifications such as CCSP, AWS Certified Security Specialty, or GCP Professional Cloud Security Engineer.
