Senior Construction Trading Underwriter Overview

We are working with a specialist MGA that is extending its construction underwriting proposition from London into the regional broker market. They are now looking to appoint a Senior Construction Trading Underwriter to help establish and grow this capability in the North.

This role offers the opportunity to be one of the first regional construction hires and play a key role in shaping how the class is traded locally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Underwrite and trade construction risks across a broad spectrum of project types
  • Build and maintain strong broker relationships through regular face-to-face trading
  • Act as a visible market presence for the construction proposition
  • Develop a profitable, sustainable book of business
  • Work closely with capacity providers and internal stakeholders
