What is the work?
Must have experience on working on Laravel (modern Laravel best practices preferred) Clean, structured DB updates for video assets (stream_url, poster_url, thumb_url, asset_status) Writing migration scripts that avoid regressions and duplication Understanding token-based streaming URLs Must have worked with CCBill - FlexForms, Dynamic Pricing and one-time clip purchases, Subscription handling + webhook events (sale, rebill, cancel, expire), Proper UM script integration Make technical decisions without needing step-by-step direction Identify risks or inconsistencies proactively and suggest improvements when appropriate Follow architectural directives without improvisation Work independently in AWS without being handheld through routine operations while interpret instructions correctly Ability to communication clearly especially email writing What skills and experience are we looking for?
Senior developer with proven experience who can take work with ownership dealing specifically with streaming pipeline, AWS workflow, video playback stack, and migration automation Must have worked with AWS S3 (multi-environment structuring, lifecycle, large media workflows) Hands on experience on AWS CloudFront (distributions, signed URLs, CORS, secure streaming) AWS MediaConvert (HLS presets, naming conventions, batch automation, QC) Experience migrating large video libraries directly from server to S3 Understanding of efficient migration scripts and automation Experience in HLS streaming architecture (master manifests, multi-bitrate, fallback logic) Implemented player frameworks: Plyr.js, Video.js, JWPlayer, or equivalent Implementing download buttons & DRM-safe access rules Handling up-next flows, playlists, thumbnails, poster integration Apply (Gmail) Apply (Form)
