About the Role
We’re looking for a high-taste, research-driven Senior Writer who can craft cinematic, emotionally intelligent, culturally sharp narratives across formats. You will write everything from digital ads to brand films, long-form documentaries, case studies, and short-form content for social.
You must deeply understand storytelling theory, consumer psychology, literature, and internet culture, and be able to convert insights and research into modern, compelling narratives.
This is a high-impact, creativity-first role for someone who can bring depth, originality, and strong writing craft to the Ai Sensy creative team.
Key Responsibilities
1. Write Digital Ads & Brand Story Scripts
- Create scripts for 6sec, 15sec, 30sec, 45sec. digital ads
- Build engaging scenes, characters, and voiceovers
- Convert brand insights into powerful emotional moments
- Work with creative directors/cinematographers to turn scripts into shot-ready flows
2. Long-Form Narratives (Documentaries, Brand Films, Case Studies)
- Write structured, research-heavy scripts for You Tube and branded content
- Use storytelling frameworks (3-act, 5-act, story circle)
- Convert data, interviews, and raw insights into gripping stories
- Maintain factual integrity with emotional appeal
3. Short-Form Content Writing
- Write high-retention scripts for Reels, Shorts, Tik Tok-style content
- Craft thumb-stopping hooks and micro-narratives
- Optimize for pacing, payoff, and attention psychology
4. Deep Research & Insight Extraction
- Conduct investigative research on industries, culture, consumer behavior
- Extract insights from reports, articles, and interviews
- Build narrative angles and creative concepts from scratch
- Ensure originality and factual accuracy
5. Brand Voice & Psychology-Led Writing
- Adapt tone across brands, formats, and audiences
- Use cognitive biases and emotional triggers in storytelling
- Shape smart, modern brand narratives
- Understand audience motivations and craft messages that resonate
6. Cross-Team Creative Collaboration
- Work with directors, editors, designers, and producers
- Convert scripts into storyboard-ready versions
- Provide narrative direction during shoots and edits
- Maintain consistency across all creative outputs
Required Skills & Expertise
Storytelling & Writing
- Strong visual storytelling ability
- Understanding of storytelling theory: Hero’s Journey, Story Circle, Act structures
- Ability to write emotional, insight-driven, and cinematic narratives
- Command over literary devices (metaphor, rhythm, symbolism, subtext)
Ad Writing
- Prior experience writing digital ads, branded content, or films
- Ability to compress ideas into tight, powerful scripts
- Strong hook-writing ability
Research Skills
- Ability to convert complex topics into accessible stories
- Strong fact-checking discipline
- Investigative, curiosity-led research approach
Consumer Psychology
- Understanding of human behavior, cognitive biases, and emotional triggers
- Ability to write messaging that influences perception and action
Digital & Creative Literacy
- Awareness of contemporary internet culture and trends
- Understanding of short-form pacing and viral content mechanics
- Ability to switch writing tones (cinematic, witty, poetic, conversational, etc.)
Experience Level
2–4 years in one or more of the following:
- Creative agencies
- Production houses
- Journalism

Portfolio Requirements
Candidates must share:
- 2–3 ad film / long-form / social scripts
- 1 long-form narrative or documentary script
