Job Title: Senior Controls/Test Engineer
Location: El Paso, TX
Job Summary:
Join our client as a Senior Controls/Test Engineer, where you'll play a pivotal role in enhancing production processes. You'll be responsible for designing, developing, and troubleshooting test equipment, while also mentoring team members. Your expertise will drive safety and efficiency improvements in our client's manufacturing environment.
Job Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain testing and assembly processes to support business goals.
• Design and select test equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Troubleshoot and service test equipment and electrical systems.
• Lead cost-out initiatives and promote continuous improvement using Lean/Six Sigma tools.
• Guide capital equipment selection and evaluate Capital Appropriation Requests.
• Manage change processes and drive sustained improvements in manufacturing operations.
Skills Required:
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computers, Math, or Science.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in test/controls engineering.
• Proficiency in programming software like Visual Basic, SQL, and Microsoft applications.
• Experience with Rockwell Software, PLC, and HMI programming.
• Strong project management skills.
• Ability to interpret and troubleshoot electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
