Senior Counsel - Litigation

Overview

Position Summary...We are currently seeking a senior lawyer with commercial and/or insurance litigation experience, reporting to the Assistant General Counsel (Litigation), to join a best in class legal team. This is an exciting opportunity to work as a strategic partner with the business on a broad range of litigation matters. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 – 10 years of commercial and/or insurance litigation experience at an in-house legal department and/or a leading law firm.

Responsibilities

• Advising on complex litigation matters, including class actions, breach of contract, tort (i.e. occupiers liability, product liability, false arrest, professional negligence).
• Identifying potential legal or regulatory risks or issues, and partnering cross-functionally with the necessary business units to identify and implement appropriate solutions
