In this vital leadership role, you will be responsible for shaping and implementing loan policies, efficiently managing the entire credit and loan closing processes, and ensuring exceptional oversight of our credit granting operations. Your key responsibilities will include approving significant credit exposures, supervising daily credit activities, and establishing robust credit standards for lending. You will play an essential role during regulatory audits and stress testing, leveraging your substantial delegated credit authority. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field, combined with a minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience in credit roles at community or large banks, or financial services firms. Extensive expertise in approving commercial real estate, C&I lending, SBA lending, and construction financing is crucial. This position requires a proven ability to lead and mentor a diverse team of professionals, enhancing their skills through training and development. Additionally, you should excel in collaboration, effectively engaging with various internal and external stakeholders to control and optimize credit exposure.
