For our client working in aviation and located at Basel Euroairport we are looking for a Senior Crestron Programmer for 12 months.

Integrated within the Engineering department, the Senior Crestron Programmer designs, develops, and deploys advanced Crestron-based control systems for high-end private and business aircraft. The role requires deep technical expertise, strong architectural capabilities, and the ability to work within the strict constraints of the aviation environment.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Design complete Crestron system architectures tailored for luxury aircrafts
• Develop and maintain Crestron programs using SIMPL and SIMPL+.
• Implement and configure DM NVX® AV-over-IP solutions
• Develop C# modules for Crestron environments
• Integrate Crestron systems with aircraft subsystems (cabin management, AV distribution, lighting, connectivity, environmental controls)
• Collaborate with avionics, electrical, and engineering teams to ensure compatibility with aircraft constraints and certification requirements
• Diagnose, test, and validate system performance during ground and flight phases

Must Haves:

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in Crestron programming and AV control systems, or at least 10+ years experience as a C# Programmer in a highly regulated environment
• Strong experience with Crestron SIMPL, SIMPL+, and C# for Crestron
• Proven ability to design scalable and reliable Crestron architectures
• Experience integrating complex systems in constrained or regulated environments (aerospace, defense, maritime, medical, etc.)
• Solid understanding of networking, AV distribution, and IP-based control systems
• Strong analytical and debugging skills
• Ability to adapt solutions to tight physical, environmental, and regulatory constraints
• Effective communication and cross-disciplinary collaboration
• High attention to detail and quality
• Fluency in English, German or French would be a plus

Nice to Have:

• Experience in HTML5 for modern UI development is a plus
• Crestron Programmer Certification Gold, Platinum, or Diamond is an advantage
• Experience with aircraft cabin systems or other aviation projects would be a plus
• Understanding of aviation electrical systems, safety constraints, EMI considerations, and space/weight limitations
• Familiarity with aircraft installation standards and documentation practices.

This contract is for 12 Months (might be extended) or even become permanent.
