We are currently seeking for an enthusiastic team player with exceptional security engineering skills and a well-rounded personality to become part of our dynamic Cyber team in our offices in Athens. The team is part of a European network, where brilliant colleagues collaborate across Deloitte locations to deliver services to our clients both in Greece and abroad.

As a Senior Cyber Security Engineer, you will design, develop and support leading security solutions to our clients. Typical engagements include security solutions management such as network, infrastructure, SIEM, XDR, XSOAR, etc.

Your role as a Senior Cyber Security Engineer will enable you to work alongside fellow Cyber Security engineers, who are incredibly passionate about what they do and are characterized by their commitment to working as a team and their ever-present customer focus. In this role, you will actively participate and contribute to technical advisory, planning, delivery and support of best-in-class cybersecurity solution technologies for our clients, and you will find yourself in a personal learning, challenging, and development fast-track and will be given many opportunities to get exposure and make an impact that matters.

During your tenure as a Senior Cyber Security Engineer, you will be able to:

  • Be part of a global community of Deloitte experts in Cyber Security Engineering.
  • Work on projects focused on development and continuous improvement of security infrastructure.
  • Support clients in identifying weaknesses in their infrastructure by deploying, configuring and supporting Cyber Security tools.
  • Support your wider team in the delivery of cyber security work, including threat modelling, security architecture assessments, cloud security vulnerability assessments, Infrastructure security management, etc.
  • Work closely with the team towards the continuous improvement of services offered.
  • Receive training and attain certifications in the use of cutting-edge cybersecurity products but also on various cybersecurity engineering topics.
  • Work closely with the best experts from many different disciplines and geographies.

    To qualify for the role, you must have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer and Network Engineering, IT, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in SOC environment with hands-on knowledge of security-related products and technologies (e.g. Network/Endpoint Security, IDS/IPS, Firewall, SIEM, XDR, SOAR etc.)
  • Experience in troubleshooting security and related network issues.
  • Professional certifications such as Checkpoint Certification (CCSA), Fortinet NSE4, Cisco CCNA, Microsoft SC-200, Microsoft AZ-500 would be considered a strong plus.
  • Commitment to teamwork and ability to build strong client relationships.
  • Strong communication skills (in Greek and in English).
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and always strive for high ethical standards.
  • Military obligations fulfilled where applicable.
