A high-profile Federal Government agency is seeking experienced Senior Cyber Security Developers to support the delivery of key cyber security outcomes under a major national security program. The role focuses on the development and support of secure software solutions, working within agile delivery teams and contributing to high-impact cyber security initiatives. This is a 12-month contract with 2 × 12-month extension options based in ACT.

The successful Senior Cyber Security Developers will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Design, build and support secure Python-based software solutions
• Maintain and enhance applications to ensure performance and availability
• Ensure software quality and security through testing and code reviews
• Build and deploy applications on AWS, including EC2, Lambda and S3
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and GitLab Runners

The successful Senior Cyber Security Developers will have experiences in the following:

• Strong experience developing software using Python
• Proven experience working within Agile software delivery teams
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining applications on AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3)
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and GitLab Runners
• Experience working with cyber threat intelligence platforms and data formats (e.g. MISP, TAXII)
