Requirements 

  •  5 years of related technical field strongly preferred 
  • Languages: Spark, Pyspark, python, Java (preferred), Rest API, etc. 
  • Cloud platforms experience: AWS Cloud, Cloud Snowflake 
  • Version control tools: Gitlab 
  • Must have but not limited to: AWS Glue AWS RDS/Aurora/PostgreSQL databases AWS Lambda and Other AWS services
  • Desired Skills:
  • React
  • ETL tools such as Apache Nifi, DBT, Informatica or datastage.
  • Openshift
  • Oracle databases

    • Responsibilities 

  • Work closely with IT and Analytics/Reporting teams to design appropriate data integration solutions, develop data flows, implement models in operational and analytical databases, build and integrate REST API solutions.
  • Liaising with people from different backgrounds, from management to designers and programmers in the IT department to ensure the solution meets the need of the organization and the people who will be using it.
  • Recommend process optimization to allow for greater efficiency via existing and new technology
  • Coordinate response to production issues, perform troubleshooting, and initiate improvements to the overall application design
  • Advise and collaborate with governance resources to create detailed documentation, controls, testing and governance processes
  • Advise and collaborate with product owners regarding system viability and design related to implementing business requirements
  • Understand business needs and translate business requirements into conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
  • Create and maintain data models, data maps and systems interrelationship diagrams for data domains and systems.
  • Design and communicate data flows and data integration patterns across analytical & operational applications.
  • Define and implement data modeling and design standards, naming standards, tools, best practices, and related development methodologies for the organization.
