Job Title- Senior Data Engineer – CDP (Treasure Data)


Location: Mohali / Chandigarh (Full-time, Work from Office)

What You Bring


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering , with strong focus on Customer Data Platforms (Treasure Data)
  • Hands-on expertise in RT2 , data governance, data unification, identity resolution, and customer profile management
  • Treasure Data CDP certification (preferred)
  • Experience with Azure Data Factory (good to have)
  • Familiarity with marketing technology stacks and CDP platforms
  • Experience with Google Tag Manager (GTM) , web/app tracking, and digital analytics
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, Presto, Hive, Digdag, Embulk , and Data Warehousing concepts
  • Strong understanding of real-time and batch data pipelines , data flow management, and storage systems


Your Impact


1️⃣ Real-Time CDP Development & Event Capture

  • Design and implement real-time customer event ingestion using Treasure Data RT2 , JavaScript SDKs, APIs, and streaming pipelines
  • Define event schemas, tracking plans, and data contracts across web, mobile, and digital channels
  • Partner with product and digital teams to ensure accurate customer journey instrumentation

2️⃣ Google Ecosystem & Analytics Enablement

  • Build and maintain integrations with GTM, Google Analytics, and BigQuery
  • Ensure seamless data synchronization between Google platforms and Treasure Data CDP
  • Build dashboards and continuously monitor data quality and performance

3️⃣ Customer Profiles, Identity & RT2 Modeling

  • Design and maintain real-time customer profiles using RT2 modeling

4️⃣ Consent Management & Privacy Engineering

  • Implement consent capture, enforcement, and propagation across ingestion, storage, and activation layers
  • Integrate CDP with Consent Management Platforms (CMPs)
  • Ensure opt-in/opt-out compliance across downstream activations

5️⃣ DSAR & Data Rights Management

  • Design CDP workflows to support DSAR use cases (access, erasure, rectification, portability)
  • Enable customer data discovery, extraction, and deletion across unified profiles and downstream systems

6️⃣ Data Retention, Deletion & Disaster Recovery

  • Implement data retention policies and automated purging mechanisms
  • Support right-to-be-forgotten workflows across real-time and batch data

7️⃣ Customer Activation & Personalization

  • Enable real-time and batch audience activation across marketing and engagement platforms
  • Support use cases like real-time offers, journey triggers, and next-best-action
  • Monitor and resolve activation latency and data freshness issues

8️⃣ CDP Operations, Monitoring & Optimization

  • Monitor real-time pipelines, event volumes, and RT2 throughput
  • Optimize BigQuery, Presto, and Treasure Data queries for performance and cost
  • Support BAU operations, incident management, and production stability
