Senior Data Engineer

This role centres on creating and sustaining scalable data pipelines that provide reliable, high-quality data for retail analytics, reporting, and business decisions. You will enable teams across the organisation to gain clear insights into sales trends, stock levels, customer patterns, and operational performance through well-structured data solutions.

• Build, optimise, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using DBT, Snowflake, Python, SQL, and Airflow to extract, transform, and load data from varied sources while preserving data quality.
• Monitor production pipelines, identify issues, and resolve performance or reliability problems promptly.
• Implement and evolve Data Vault models in Snowflake to support flexible, large-scale analytics and business intelligence.
• Write and tune complex SQL queries to ensure data accuracy, speed, and scalability.
