Must-have Skills:

• An ideal candidate should have a good academic background with at least a B.E./B.Tech degree in computer science engineering with 5-8 years of overall work experience.
• At least 5+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing and delivering Cloud Data Platform Data Engineering solutions comprising Data Ingestion, Data Quality Validations, Data Processing and Data Integration aspects.
• Strong experience in Fabric Onelake, Fabric Pipelines, Fabric Notebooks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, dbt, Azure Monitor and other Azure based data eco-system services.
• Hands-on experience in PySpark and SparkSQL
• Proficiency in Analytics use case analysis, source system analysis, and data quality assessment.
• Significant experience in working on large-scale data and analytics platforms, databases, storage, models, techniques, and technologies.
• Familiarity with Modern Data Platform principles, including DataOps, Reliability, Performance Optimization, and security.
• Strong experience in conducting Discovery and Design workshops with key stakeholders comprising both Business and IT teams
• Experience in co-ordinating/collaborating with on-shore and off-shore teams for solution delivery
• Strong experience in Agile Process and Azure DevOps
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Nice-to-have Skills:

• Exposure to various Data & Analytics solution architectural styles and design principles.
• Experience with key Data Management principles including Data Governance, Data Cataloging and Master Data Management
• Exposure to Microsoft Purview and Profisee MDM
• Exposure to BI analytics using Power BI.
• Functional understanding of data domains in P & C Insurance.

Your Key Accountabilities:

• Lead Discovery phase activities by preparing questionnaires, collaborating with client teams, and identifying key use cases, challenges and requirements.
• Define Data Engineering solution for the modern data platform comprising Pipeline orchestration, Data Ingestion, Data Quality, Data Transformation and Data Integration aspects considering scalability, security, reliability, code reusability and business objectives
• Align with stakeholders to ensure the designed solution meets business needs and technical specifications
• Plan and demonstrate POC/end-to-end solution demos for identified use cases during Sprint/Release cycles.
• Create delivery artifacts, including templates, methodologies, guidelines, and best practices required for solution delivery.
• Provide Training & KT on Solution, Best Practices, and Frameworks/Tools to Project Team.
• Provide mentorship and training to team members, supporting their quality and timely project deliverables.
• Supervise and monitor the development and configuration of the data platform, ensuring alignment with the architectural design
• Conduct reviews, health checks, and optimizations to ensure solutions meet business and technical requirements.
• Ensure thorough testing of the platform components for its data integrity, performance, and security
• Define deployment strategies, including UAT, production rollout, and rollback plans.
