About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer / BI Engineer with strong expertise in Snowflake data warehousing , Tableau analytics , and relational databases . The ideal candidate will be responsible for building robust data pipelines, designing analytical data models, and delivering high-quality dashboards and insights. Prior experience in the US healthcare domain is strongly preferred.
Your Area of Focus
Data Engineering & Snowflake Design, develop, and maintain scalable data warehouse solutions using Snowflake
Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest data from multiple sources
Develop and maintain data models (star and snowflake schemas) for analytics and reporting
Optimize Snowflake performance through clustering, query tuning, and cost management
Implement data security, access control, and governance best practices
BI & Tableau Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports for business and operational insights
Create efficient Tableau data sources and extracts optimized for performance
Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable visualizations
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and usability across dashboards
Perform ongoing dashboard enhancements and user support
Database & Analytics Write and optimize complex SQL queries , views, and stored procedures
Work with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL , or similar
Ensure data quality, validation, and reconciliation across systems
Support production issues and perform root cause analysis
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management Collaborate with data analysts, product owners, and engineering teams
Participate in design reviews, sprint planning, and technical discussions
Document data architecture, data flows, and BI standards
Your Professional Qualifications
5–7 years of experience in data engineering, BI, or analytics roles
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Snowflake
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Tableau (dashboard development and optimization)
Strong expertise in SQL and relational database concepts
Experience with data modeling for analytics and reporting
Solid understanding of ETL/ELT frameworks and data integration patterns
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills Experience in the US healthcare domain (claims, eligibility, EHR/EMR, HIPAA compliance)
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
Familiarity with tools such as dbt, Airflow, Informatica, Talend , or similar
Experience with data governance, data quality frameworks, and compliance standards
Exposure to Agile / Scrum methodologies
