Senior data engineer

Title – Senior Data Engineer
Position – Contract with Opportunity for Full Time Conversion
Location – Remote Work
Salary – 1- 2 Lakhs (Monthly)
Working hours should be 6:30 am - 2:30 pm EST (USA)
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
6+ years experience architecting and building large scale data platforms
Experience architecting and building large-scale data platforms, including data lakes and data marts
Proven experiences as a Data Engineer or similar role, with a strong background in database design and development.
Proficiency in SQL, data modeling tools, and ETL processes.
Knowledge of reporting Looker, Power BI, or similar tools.
Knowledge with Goolgle Big Query or equivalent.
Familiarity with cloud platforms with GCP preferred.
Experience using big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark)
Excellent Communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience with event-driven architecture and streaming data processing frameworks like Kafka, Spark, Flink is aplus.
Knowledge of Postgres is a plus.
