Senior Data Engineer

Title – Senior Data Engineer

Position – Contract with Opportunity for Full Time Conversion

Location – Remote Work

Salary – 1-2 Lakhs (Monthly)

Working hours should be 6:30 am - 2:30 pm EST (USA)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 6+ years experience architecting and building large scale data platforms
• Experience architecting and building large-scale data platforms, including data lakes and data marts
• Proven experiences as a Data Engineer or similar role, with a strong background in database design and development.
• Proficiency in SQL, data modeling tools, and ETL processes.
• Knowledge of reporting Looker, Power BI, or similar tools.
• Knowledge with Goolgle BigQuery or equivalent.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms with GCP preferred.
• Experience using big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark)
• Excellent Communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with event-driven architecture and streaming data processing frameworks like Kafka, Spark, Flink is aplus.
• Knowledge of Postgres is a plus.
