Role : Senior Data Engineer (Python/Scala)

Work Mode : Work From Office (5 Days)

Location : Noida, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Pune

Experience : 7+ Years

Notice Period : Immediate / 15 Days Notice Period




Responsibilities

  • Work as part of a cross-disciplinary team alongside data engineers, software engineers, data scientists, data managers and business stakeholders.
  • Architect, design, implement, and maintain reliable and scalable data infrastructure to move, process, and serve data.
  • Develop, deploy, and maintain software solutions for data integration, data management and data quality.
  • Follow and advocate for software engineering best practices (technical design, reviews, unit testing, monitoring, alerting, version control, code review, documentation).
  • Deploy secure, well-tested software compliant with privacy and regulatory standards.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ensure service reliability by applying site reliability engineering best practices, including on-call rotation for owned services and maintaining SLAs.
  • Design, build, deploy, and maintain Infrastructure as Code and containerized deployments.
  • Contribute actively to improving developer productivity and engineering efficiency.


Qualifications (Essential)

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 7 12 years of deep, hands-on experience in designing, building, productionizing, and maintaining scalable data platforms and data products in complex environments.
  • Strong development experience in Python, Scala, or Java/C#.
  • Hands-on experience with Databricks and Apache Spark.
  • Advanced SQL and strong database fundamentals.
  • Experience designing and implementing large-scale distributed data systems.
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
  • Strong knowledge across all stages of the data lifecycle.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to lead initiatives through technical influence.
  • Continuous learning mindset and ability to adapt to new technologies and approaches.
