Senior Data & Platform Engineer (Market Risk Tech)
MUST be local to New York City, Hybrid Schedule
Salary: >$180k

Role: Build data services and Spark pipelines on Kubernetes and Databricks. Own end-to-end delivery with strong SDLC and mentor junior engineers. Financial-risk experience required, with Market Risk strongly preferred (CCR or Liquidity also acceptable).
Responsibilities:
- Develop Java/Python services and SQL/Spark ETL on Databricks.
- Containerize and deploy to Kubernetes with full observability.
- Enforce strong SDLC: reviews, testing, CI/CD, monitoring.
- Deliver audit-ready data contracts; partner with risk teams.
- Lead code reviews, coaching, and incident RCAs.
