Senior Data Platform Engineer

We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Data Platform Engineer to strengthen our engineering unit in Zürich to support our banking client in a hybrid working environment.

As a Senior Data Platform Engineer, you will lead the design, development and maintenance of scalable data platforms that support analytics, data science and business applications. You will take ownership of the architecture, implementation and optimization of data pipelines, big data frameworks and cloud-based solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of distributed systems, database management and data governance principles.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem-solver with expertise in data platform technologies and is comfortable mentoring a team while collaborating across data engineering, analytics and product teams.
