Job Description
Job Summary: We are looking for a Senior Data Protection Engineer/Architect to join our global infrastructure team. You will manage and optimize a massive-scale Data Protection environment (Petabytes of data) driven by Cohesity.
This role requires a blend of deep technical expertise in backup architectures, strong scripting skills for automation, and a meticulous approach to documentation in a risk-averse environment. You will play a key role in our upcoming critical migrations (VMware to AHV) and the implementation of future Cyber Vaulting strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational & Architectural Management: Manage Cohesity Data Protect in a global environment managing PBs of data.
Complex Workload Protection: Configure and maintain backup strategies for:
Virtual: AHV (including app-consistent use cases) and vSphere.
Physical: Windows (w/ Cristie for BMR), SQL (Physical & AHV), and GPFS.
Databases & ERP: SAP on Oracle, SAP on HANA, PostgreSQL, and DB dumps to ...
