We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Scientist to drive Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) and advanced analytics initiatives. In this role, you will partner closely with business stakeholders to convert complex marketing and business challenges into robust analytical solutions. You will design, build, and deploy statistical and machine learning models that deliver actionable insights to optimize marketing effectiveness and return on investment.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end development of Marketing Mix Models, including data preparation, feature engineering, model development, validation, and interpretation of results.
  • Design and implement advanced econometric and statistical models such as regression, time-series analysis, Bayesian and hierarchical models to measure, forecast, and optimize marketing ROI.
  • Translate business objectives into analytical frameworks and clearly communicate insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with analytics, marketing, and business teams to ensure insights are aligned with decision-making needs.
  • Mentor junior data scientists, providing guidance on MMM methodologies, coding standards, and effective business storytelling.
  • Drive automation and scalability of modeling pipelines, reporting workflows, and insight delivery.
  • Explore and apply emerging techniques such as causal inference and machine learning to enhance traditional MMM approaches.
  • Present findings through compelling visualizations, reports, and presentations that influence strategic decisions.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 4–8 years of experience in advanced analytics or data science, with strong hands-on expertise in Marketing Mix Modeling.
  • Proven experience delivering MMM engagements for global clients across industries such as CPG, Retail, BFSI, Technology, or similar sectors.
  • Strong foundation in statistical and econometric modeling, including regression, time-series analysis, Bayesian methods, and hierarchical models.
  • Proficiency in Python and/or R for statistical modeling and analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
  • Ability to work with large, complex datasets and solve ambiguous business problems.
  • Strong client-facing and communication skills, with experience presenting analytical insights to senior business stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
