Senior Data Scientist

Senior Data Scientist Join Veepee, a leading European e‑commerce platform, to build and deploy state‑of‑the‑art machine learning algorithms. Working with a cloud‑native Data Science Team of 20 across Paris, Barcelona and Brussels. Responsibilities Build, deploy and maintain the data science stack. Create insights and visualizations of data. Train machine learning models at scale in a cloud environment. A/B test ML models on the website and learn from results. Write production‑ready code and maintain it. Communicate clearly with stakeholders, adapting technical detail to the audience. Continuously improve technical knowledge through conferences, open‑source, meet‑ups and internal learnshops. Qualifications At least 5 years of experience in data science. Top engineering school in Computer Science, Machine Learning, AI, or similar technical field. Strong statistical, analytical and deep learning skills. Deep knowledge of Python and SQL. Experience with DBT, feature engineering, model training, evaluation, deployment and serving. Comfortable working with large‑scale datasets. Proficiency with GIT. Knowledge of Kubernetes, Airflow, MLFlow. Experience with demand forecasting or pricing is a plus. Strong team player, willing to share knowledge and help others.
