Senior Data Scientist

This is a non-tenure-track, 100% grant funded faculty-equivalent appointment under the direction of the co-Pl RCMI grant WCHBS and in close collaboration with Director Research Capacity Core of our NIH-funded Interdisciplinary Health Equity Research Center (IHER). The ideal candidate will have a broad understanding of data science regarding analytical methods, informatics, computational and information resources, data sharing policies. Required to possess a doctoral-level degree in a biomedical, biostatistics, machine learning or computational research field. This position requires a scientist with research experience in fields such as computer science, statistics. statistical genetics, bioinformatics, computational methods, artificial intelligence research methods and their applications in health research.
