Job Purpose
The purpose of this role is to design, optimize, and maintain SQL Server databases by developing and refactoring stored procedures, improving query performance, resolving database issues, and supporting database migrations to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of business-critical systems.
Who you are:
• 8+ years of hands-on experience as a Database Administrator with strong expertise in SQL Server
• Extensive experience in stored procedure development, debugging, and optimization
• Strong capability in legacy stored procedure analysis and refactoring
• Proven expertise in query performance tuning , execution plan analysis, and indexing strategies
• Experience in deadlock detection, blocking analysis, and resolution
• Hands-on experience with database migrations, schema changes, and version upgrades
• Strong understanding of SQL Server architecture, performance internals, and best practices
• Ability to troubleshoot complex database issues in high-availability environments
• Experience working closely with application and engineering teams to support data requirements
