Senior Database Architect

Job Summary

This senior individual contributor is primarily responsible for driving and leading strategic data-informed decisions, leading efforts to

ensure data and resources are available to users in an orderly and secure way through data provisioning and ongoing security, and

leading analysis and development of database designs, data models, and relational data definitions in support of systems

requirements.

This position leads ongoing database support, maintenance, and troubleshooting, leads complex data strategy efforts, and leads the

design, roadmap development, implementation, and automation of business and reporting solutions.

As a Senior Functional/Technical Specialist Data Engineer , you will define the enterprise reference architecture for data engineering frameworks. You will lead the evolution of hybrid data ecosystems, combining Oracle workloads with modern lakehouse and GenAI pipelines. You will champion engineering strategies that prepare data for semantic knowledge graphs, embeddings, and vector search at enterprise scale, enabling advanced AI and GenAI solutions.

Qualifications :

Minimum five (5) years experience in a lead role with or without direct reports.

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Social/Physical/Life Science, Business,

or related field and Minimum ten (10) years experience in database configuration, architecture or management, or a

directly related field.

• 8 years experience with Oracle database engineering and Databricks.

• 8 years Experience with parallel/distributed frameworks (Spark, Flink, Beam OR any other Apache tooling).

• 8 years experience with semantic modeling pipelines, embeddings, and vector search frameworks.

2+ years experience in DevDataAISecOps(DevOps,DataOps and AIOps)principles, employing CI/CD tools, and infrastructure as code practices with Github, Gitlab, Docker, and Kubernetes

Expertise with Data integration pattern (ETL to ELT, Event orchestration and API, Publish subscribe models)
