Job Overview

We are looking for a talented Senior Design Engineer to join our Client Place based at Manesar, Gurgaon (Haryana). This is a full-time, mid-level position requiring 4 to 6 years of work experience. The ideal candidate will have expertise in design engineering, particularly in SolidWorks, SPM Design, and Heavy Machinery Design, with a passion for developing innovative solutions in the mechanical field.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop innovative designs using SolidWorks and other engineering software, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Lead the design process for special purpose machinery, focusing on heavy machinery and recycling solutions.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and implement lean manufacturing techniques.
• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for new design projects to ensure practicality and economic viability.
• Oversee the production process to ensure design specifications are met during manufacturing stages.
• Participate in design reviews, providing constructive feedback and insights to improve overall product design.
• Continuously improve design practices and methodologies to enhance the efficiency and quality of output.
• Prepare detailed engineering documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and reports.

Qualifications and Skills

• Profound understanding of SolidWorks, SPM Design, and Heavy Machinery Design
• Proven knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques with an ability to apply them to improve product quality and efficiency.
• Strong proficiency in sheet metal design and fabrication techniques essential for complex engineering projects.
• Experienced in part design with a focus on accuracy and detail in creating functional products.
• Expertise in mechanical design, ensuring adherence to engineering principles and industry standards.
• Competency in recycling machine design, optimizing processes for eco-friendly engineering solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to address engineering challenges with creative solutions.
