Technical Solutions Inc. is currently seeking a Senior Design Engineer on behalf of our client, a civil engineering consultant based in the Pittsburgh area. The Senior Design Engineer will be responsible for process and detailed design associated with municipal water/wastewater treatment plants and pump stations. The Senior Design Engineer will report to the Director of Engineering and will work directly with the project managers.
Responsibilities:-Preliminary meetings with clients to gain an understanding of existing conditions, problems, and scope of work.-Ability and willingness to complete site visits to gain a complete understanding of existing conditions and space constraints.-Analyze operating data and complete predictive modeling and calculations as required to size pumps, blowers, and treatment processes.-Complete treatment plant hydraulic profile calculations.-Complete mass balance and process calculations.-Prepare planning and design reports for client and regulatory rev...
