Job Description
We are recruiting a Senior Design Engineer to join a leading provider of scaffolding and temporary works solutions. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer looking to take a hands‑on lead in delivering innovative designs, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring projects meet all technical and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and verification of scaffolding, temporary works, and structural support systems.
- Produce detailed engineering drawings, calculations, and technical documentation.
- Mentor and supervise junior engineers and design technicians.
- Collaborate with project teams to deliver safe, practical, and cost‑effective solutions.
- Conduct site visits to assess conditions and provide technical support.
- Review and approve engineering calculations, risk assessments, and method statements.
- Ensure compliance with TG20, BS5975, CDM regulations, and other standards.
